Learn about the Inland Empire Health Information Organization (IEHIO) and why your practice should be involved?
Did you know that as an ambulatory practice, you can be part of the Inland Empire Health Information Organization (IEHIO) for FREE? This means that most primary care physician practices can immediately begin to participate in data sharing services for treatment at the point of care. This enables you as the physician to provide enhanced care, reduce readmissions, operate more efficiently and be more responsive to the patient population.
IEHIO's purpose is to connect providers with data by coordinating data sharing services through treatment at the point of care and by addressing the psycho-social determinants of health to support whole-person care efforts. Manifest MedEX is a California HIE (Health Information Exchange) and shares data among 600 healthcare organizations across California, including hospitals, health plans, ACOs, and other ambulatory groups. This includes almost all hospitals in the Inland Empire. The IEHIO, in partnership with Manifest MedEx, promotes a community-wide data sharing model that improves healthcare for all residents of the Inland Empire. Ambulatory practices can access Manifest MedEx at no cost.
Presenters:
- Lacey Mendoza, Director of Customer Success, Manifest MEDEX
