To grow and diversify the physician workforce pipeline, Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC), the Butte-Glenn Medical Society (BGMS) Residency Task Force and Paradise Medical Group have launched a free webinar series to offer innovative solutions to meet rural California's critical access to care needs. Physicians, practice managers and providers can expect to learn the foundational elements of preparing clinical facilities to successfully design medical residency programs. Each one-hour virtual workshop will be presented by Kiki Nocella, Ph.D., MHA and director at Wipfli LLP, a nationally renowned accounting and business consulting firm - unless otherwise noted. Nocella is a passionate advocate for GME and rural health care, and she has decades of experience, including a recent Psychiatry Residency Feasibility Study for Butte County and BGMS in July 2020.
