Join our Virtual Grand Rounds: COVID-19 - The State of the Pandemic, Children, and Opening Schools - on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. PT to 1:30 p.m. PT
COVID-19 affects children differently. As schools attempt to reopen, the dynamics of COVID-19 in children is top of mind for clinicians, parents, educators and policymakers. Physicians are being asked to serve as experts in local decisions around reopening schools. The speakers will review the latest data on children and COVID-19, including symptoms, patterns of disease and disease transmission, clinical presentation and management of pediatric syndromes like MIS-C, testing, etc.

As a result of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the epidemiology of COVID-19 in children
- Explain the latest evidence on COVID-19 transmission and children
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 MIS-C in children
- Diagnose and treat inflammatory complications of COVID-19 in adults and children, including MIS-C
