Understanding California’s Fertility Coverage Laws: What Physicians Need to Know about SB 600 & SB 729
Get up to speed on California’s evolving fertility coverage landscape, including fertility preservation, the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, and fertility services. Join the California Medical Association (CMA) for a one-hour webinar exploring two key laws - SB 600 (2019, Portantino) and SB 729 (2024, Menjivar) - and what they mean for physician practices. This webinar will walk practices through the differences between the laws, the scope of the coverage mandates, which product types are affected, and the status of regulatory guidance. We will also discuss practice implications, such as eligibility and benefits, utilization management considerations, and implications for payor contracting.
Whether your practice provides infertility services or you’re looking to better inform your patients about their infertility coverage rights, this webinar will provide valuable insights.
This webinar is only available to CMA members and their staff.
