Prop 35 and Medi-Cal Access to Care: What Physicians Need to Know

On California's ballot this November, Prop 35 is one of the most significant health care initiatives in our state’s history. Prop 35 dedicates ongoing funding to increase access to care to the nearly 15 million Californians on Medi-Cal, including half of the state's children. This webinar will present an overview of Medi-Cal's chronic underfunding and show how Prop 35 will impact you by providing stable funding for:
  • Primary care
  • Specialty care
  • Emergency department care
  • Mental health
  • Clinics and hospitals
  • Graduate medical education
  • Physician and allied health professional loan repayment
Attendees will learn about how Prop 35 will impact physician practices and expand the health care workforce. Attendees will be given the tools needed to share the information with colleagues, patients and your community.

Presenters:

Tanya W. Spirtos, M.D., California Medical Association President
Dustin Corcoran, California Medical Association CEO
